Our approach


We are experts in market research.
 
We have experience in a wide range of research techniques and how to apply them to schools so we always ensure that we adapt our methodology to the specific needs and situation of the client.  We discuss this with you, and consider together the pros and cons of different approaches, before agreeing the way forward in line with your budget and timescales.
 
For example, if the topic to be researched is particularly sensitive, then we will ensure that our research method is discreet – probably not a questionnaire.
 
If the budget or timescale is tight, then we will adopt a method which is particularly cost-effective and quick.  We certainly will not try to persuade you to spend more than you need.
 
We are always concerned about the practical result of our work.  As the old saying goes, you don’t fatten pigs by weighing them.  Research alone will not improve your school, so the findings and insights have to be useful as well as interesting.
 
We never forget that we are representing your school and the best interests of your school, when talking to parents, pupils, staff and other ‘stakeholders’.  This means we are always polite and only knowledgeable experts who fully understand the project are involved.
 
And finally, we are research experts, so when we do research, we do it properly!  That does not necessarily mean expensive, but it does mean you can rely on our findings as robust and insightful.
