Independent Prep School

Age Range: Girls 4 to 11 years

Glendower is a thriving Independent Preparatory School, renowned for both its high academic achievement and for educating girls to be resilient, successful adults, fully aware of their responsibilities to the wider community.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a forward-thinking, innovative and visionary Head with a proven background of leadership and senior management, who will embrace the special ethos of the School and take it into the future.

This is a school that is unashamedly proud of its ability to prepare pupils for the most prestigious secondary day and boarding schools in the UK and beyond. Working in close partnership with parents, Glendower provides the very best opportunities and support for the girls, who leave as confident, articulate, well-rounded individuals with an enthusiastic attitude to life ahead and a definite ‘can-do attitude’.

The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, and particularly committed to providing excellent education for girls. The Governors will be looking for an energetic, eloquent and empathetic leader who relishes the interface with parents.

A clear insight into the London Independent senior school transfer context is preferred, but not necessary.
