RSAcademics are delighted to be assisting the Governors of Withington Girls’ School with the appointment of their next Head of the Junior School, ideally from September 2019, on the retirement of Mrs Kathryn Burrows after fourteen years of outstanding leadership and service to the School.
Withington Girls’ School is a leading academically selective school, located in Fallowfield, Manchester. It aims to provide excellent all-round education for all its pupils, aged 7-18, that encompasses a breadth of opportunities in a lively, happy and caring environment.
The Head of the Junior School is a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the School consisting of the Headmistress, Deputy Head, Director of Studies, Assistant Head and Bursar.
Applications are invited from highly qualified candidates with a strong track record of leadership and management experience, including the strategic vision to lead an exceptional junior staff team and to promote further development of this outstanding school.

Preliminary interviews will take place in Manchester on Friday 15th February or in London on Monday 18th February 2019.
Final interviews will take place at the School on Thursday 28th February and Friday 1st March 2019. Candidates would be required to attend both dates.
